SABRE College Safety Program
Know the Facts!
1 in 5 college women will be a victim of sexual assault on her college campus, and more than 10,000 students will be victims of robbery or aggravated assault each year.
The SABRE College Safety Program is structured around campus safety issues. The end goal is to prepare students to have the safest college experience possible. Plus, each attendee can feel proud to pay it forward - a portion of each course fee benefits the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network.
What the College Safety Program Will Teach You
SABRE's College Safety Program empowers students to make their personal safety a priority during their time on campus.
The program takes knowledge from SABRE's elite law enforcement partners and presents it in the form of practical tips to be incorporated into daily life. Our instructors will address a wide range of scenarios most students will encounter on a regular basis, both on and off campus. Students will learn:
- How to discourage dangerous threats
- Ways to identify and avoid potentially dangerous situations
- Protection at a safe distance
- How to use our products effectively and responsibly
- Personal Safety best practices for at home and on the go
SABRE knows each campus is different, so our program content can be specifically tailored to provide the most comprehensive class for you and your fellow students.
Both men and women are encouraged to attend a SABRE College Safety Program class, and people of all self-defense skill sets are welcome!
